Poynton Drum School offers individual or grouped drum lessons to both children and adults. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced drummer looking to brush up on your skills, there is a lesson catered for all.

My name is Scott Parkinson and I deliver the lessons from my home sound proofed drum studio, containing 2 high standard drum kits. Drumming is my passion, I have been playing for almost 20 years and have toured and recorded extensively throughout most of the UK and Europe with numerous bands. I have over 10 years teaching experience working with children of all ages, in local primary schools and privately.

I studied all areas of music and teaching at North Trafford College and my qualifications include:

RSL Level 3 Diploma for Music Educators
HND in Contemporary Popular Music
Music Performance course B-TECH National Diploma

I have an online DBS/CRB and Public Liability Insurance.
