Does my child need to bring their own instrument?
No, all instruments will be provided on the day. However, if your child prefers, they are welcome to bring their own drumsticks.
Do I need to provide food for my child?
Yes, please pack a lunch and water bottle for your child. We’ll provide a light morning and afternoon snack, as well as juice and water throughout the day.
What other items should my child bring?
Please ensure your child wears suitable clothing for outdoor activities, especially in case of rain, and brings closed toe footwear. Don’t forget to pack sun cream if the weather is sunny.
Can I book for more than one child?
Absolutely! As long as the children are aged between 7-12 years old, you can book a place for each one.
Do they need to be a current Poynton Drum School student?
Not at all. While we offer a discount to current students, the holiday club is open to all children.
My child doesn’t know how to play an instrument—will this be okay?
Of course! The holiday club is designed for beginners and will introduce children to a variety of percussion instruments, rhythms, and tempos. They may even be inspired to start learning an instrument after the club.
What time can I drop off and pick up?
You can drop off from 8.30am, the club will start at 9am. The club ends at 3pm, please ensure your child is collected by 3.30pm.
How do I book a place?
Complete the booking form and make the payment to reserve your place.
Are places limited?
Yes, we only have a set number of places so please contact us first if you are looking to register your child and it is close to the club date.
Can I book both dates for the summer holidays?
You can book for one day or both days. Please select the date you wish when completing the form. If you are booking for more than one date, please make the payment twice.
I have a ‘bring a friend for free’ voucher. How does this work?
Please complete a booking form per child. Make one payment of £35 for one child, the other child does not require a payment to be made. Please mention the voucher at the end of each of the booking forms.

Payment and Cancellation Terms
Parent Cancellation: Full refund if cancelled two weeks before the club, 50% refund if within one week.
Club Cancellation: Poynton Drum School has the right to cancel or reschedule the holiday club. In this case, full refunds will be provided.
Sickness: 50% refund will be given if the child is sick on the day and cannot attend.
Child’s Health and Safety
Health Information: Parents are to provide detailed information about their child’s health, including any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements.
Emergency Contact Information: Parents must provide an emergency contact for the duration of the club.
First Aid: There will be a minimum of one fully qualified first aid trained member of staff on site who will provide first aid if deemed necessary.
Accident Waiver: Poynton Drum School will take appropriate care but is not responsible for injuries that occur due to unforeseen circumstances.
Allergy Disclaimer: Efforts will be made to accommodate dietary needs, the club cannot guarantee an allergy-free environment.
Capacity: Places are limited and are only guaranteed once payment has been received.
Timings
Late Pick-up: Late pick ups will incur a charge of £10 per 30 minutes after 3.30pm.
Liability and Insurance
Liability: Parent agrees to release Poynton Drum School from liability for any personal injury, loss, or damage that may occur during the club, except in cases of negligence.
Insurance: Poynton Drum School has its own insurance to cover the activities in the holiday club.
Privacy and Data Protection
Personal Information: Personal data (e.g., medical, emergency contact information) will be used and stored securely, and will only be shared with staff and medical professionals if necessary.
Booking with a voucher
One voucher is valid per person. This voucher entitles one child paying full price, £35, plus one friend to come for free. Both children must be aged between 7-12 at the time of the club. Please complete one booking form per child. Only one payment of £35 is required. Valid on the summer holiday dates only.
